Dilute potassium permanganate solution oxidizes to form p-alkane-1,2,8-triol. 3. Exist in flue-cured tobacco leaves, burley tobacco leaves. 4. L-rotator is present in pine needle oil, melaleuca oil, etc. The dextrorotator is found in turpentine, orange leaf oil, etc. Racemates are found in eucalyptus oil, gerania oil, and jade tree oil. |
