The chemical name of eberconazolenitrate is 1-(2, 4-dichloro-10, 11-dihydro-5h-dibenzo [a, d] cycloheptene-5-yl) imidazole, which is developed by Chiesi pharmaceutical company in Spain. Eberconazole belongs to Imidazole antifungals, which are clinically used for skin fungal infections, especially tinea dermatophyton, jock jock and tinea pedis. Its mechanism of action is the same as that of other Imidazole antifungals, and it acts by inhibiting fungal lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which is the latest approved drug in this class.\
